For most people their home is their greatest investment…so it is important that you keep your property well maintained. Not only does this keep the home comfortable, it can also avoid larger bills down the track and even improve the equity in your home.  We recently had a client that wanted to borrow some extra funds to help them repair and spruce up their home.  They were looking at a relatively small amount but it was going to allow them to give their house a new lick of paint, replace some timber and fix other odd things around the house.  Overall we believe that it was going to bring their home back to its glory, help avoid any potential large repair costs, improve the value of their home and increase their equity.  The bonus was that we were able to borrow the extra funds and obtain a lower interest rate and reduce their monthly repayment.
