We recently helped a growing young family start the process to secure a vacant block of land to eventually build their next family home.  We initially helped these clients purchase their first home, in which they worked hard to pay down on the loan, all whilst renovating and building equity in their home.  

This put them in a fantastic position to use the equity to secure the vacant land in which they will ultimately build their next home.  This now gives them the option to either obtain bridging finance or sell their existing home to fund the construction.
